[Bug] White rectangle over playing video

Describe the bug

Sometimes when i start playback on my google tv streamer device a white rectangle is over layed on the playing video.

Exiting playback and relaunching usually removes the rectangle.

I suspect this is the "focus indicator" which would only (?) be present for remote control/keyboard navigation. I do not see this on my phone.

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. launch fullscreen video using remote control or keyboard navigation
2. white rectangle is visible about 1/2 the time
