Solution Summary

I've identified and resolved the configuration issue preventing Claude agents from running the test script. The problem was that the allowed_tools configuration was commented out in both Claude Code workflow files.

Root Cause

Claude agents were unable to execute Bash commands needed for testing because the allowed_tools configuration was commented out in:

• .github/workflows/claude.yml (line 53)
• .github/workflows/claude-code-review.yml (line 72)

Changes Required

The following changes need to be applied to enable Claude agents to run the test script:

1. In .github/workflows/claude.yml, uncomment and update line 53:

allowed_tools: "Bash(./build.sh),Bash(./test.sh),Bash(go test*),Bash(transcript check*)"

2. In .github/workflows/claude-code-review.yml, uncomment and update line 72:

allowed_tools: "Bash(./build.sh),Bash(./test.sh),Bash(go test*),Bash(transcript check*)"

Commands Enabled

These changes allow Claude agents to:

• Run ./build.sh to build the project
• Run ./test.sh to execute the full test suite
• Run go test commands for Go testing
• Run transcript check commands for transcript validation

Security Note

I cannot push these changes directly due to GitHub App security restrictions on workflow files (which is the correct security behavior). The repository maintainer will need to apply these changes manually.

Result

Once these changes are applied, Claude agents will be able to run the test script and verify code changes, resolving the issue described in the GitHub issue.
