Access to the vertical tab bar on macOS is extremely obscure

Currently—unless I've missed something really obvious—the only way to activate the vertical tab bar on macOS is through the "Toggle Vertical Tab Bar" keyboard shortcut, and then pinning it by clicking the pin icon. There's no setting for it in the preferences, and although there is a "View > Show Sidebar" menu item, it is permanently greyed out and therefore I assume it is something inherited from Catalyst rather than something actually put there intentionally.

There's an "Appearance > Window > Show Top Tab Bar" preference, so maybe it would make sense to turn this into a "Top Tabs/Vertical Tabs/Both/Neither" select?

It turns out entire macOS menu groups were not rendering at all in macOS 15. (Menus require maintaining an entire separate implementation for the legacy API and then again separately for macOS 26 and above in Catalyst apps.)

I've fixed these regressions so the terminal menu now renders. There was an addition bug causing the glyph to not show in some cases on macOS 26 and above for this specific shortcut and two others.

As far as broader discoverability I could add something to the Settings section. I have also been considering defaulting it on and pinned for macOS and iPad. Users can always dismiss with single click but this ensures they know it exists.

I didn't change the default yet as far as vertical tabs, but fixed the menus. It would be helpful if you can confirm the menus are repaired on macOS 15 now. They are for me now on my test VMs.
