Tracking issue: OS image size

Any concerns/suggestions/observations about OS image size can be tracked here. Starting with https://github.com/LimelightVision/systemcore-os-public/releases/tag/limelightosr-beta-10-104:
llcodeserver still has a Java extension that has a bundled JDK. This should be swapped out for the universal variant, which the WPILib installer uses. On https://github.com/redhat-developer/vscode-java/releases/tag/v1.53.0, that's vscode-java-1.53.0-873.vsix.
/usr/libexec/git-core has ~160 copies of the same git binary.
[SYS]/Journal also seems to take up ~60 MB.

This is the filesystem journal, not a regular file.

Oh... whoops. I didn't know 7-Zip displays hard links differently between tarballs and disk image files, but I see that they're all the same node now.

Does the filesystem journal really need to be that large? It's not my area of expertise, so no idea if it needs to be.
