testbarrierconf: reduce memory requirement#9

This commit ensures that `testbarrierconf` will not needlessly fail in low-memory environments. In particular, with only 64MB of `/dev/shm` an smp-conduit run with 3 processes (the `make run-tests` default for that test) would previously fail when the fixes for either or both of bug 4821 or 4822 were applied.
