composer says: "Package activecollab/etcd is abandoned, ..."

Thank you for your beautiful work!
I built an Yii2-extension on top of this repo: https://github.com/WeeSee/yii2-etcd.git
But: when updating composer, there is a warning:
    $ composer update
gives: 
> Package activecollab/etcd is abandoned, you should avoid using it. No replacement was suggested.

Any idea what causes this?
Maybe you could make a release 1.0 or higher?
